I've been using the customizer a bit more recently, and it doesn't make sense from an end user perspective that you can specify the parameters you want changed, but when you export to a 3mf it just uses a generic 3mf, and not one of the profiles the creator has specified.

It doesn't cause me a problem as I know what I'm doing, but for newcomers who I imagine make up a big chunk of Bambu's audience at this point, surely making it easy for them is the point. As it is, they have to download a profile, then go to the customizer, export as an STL and then bring that file into the profile they already downloaded.
