I am thinking of adopting a 1 year old dog from my local shelter. The dilemma I’m having is I work full time. I work at a vet office and have the ability to bring him to work with me.

I’m thinking of possibly adopting him this week but I am trying to figure out how to make the transition easy for both of us, while I can bring him to work with me how can I make it so if I start the first couple of days bringing him with me how can I transition into having him at home while I’m at work without having seperation anxiety.

He is a 1 year old hound mix

Any advice would be nice!
