Hi all! So as the post says, this is my first ever plantar wart. I went to a podiatrist last week. He said it was very small and hopefully will be easy to treat. He debrided it and put salicylic acid on it with some tape. Then he told me to get salicylic acid 17% from my drug store and apply 2x a day and apply a bandaid over it. He didn’t say anything about soaking or debriding it myself.

So that’s what I’ve been doing. I’m on day five of treatment. Is all this white on it normal? And then secondarily, should I be applying the acid to that entire blanched area? Or should I only apply it to the center part? (I’ve been doing the latter).
