So I see a lot of posts about sutekh clinging onto the tardis and a lot of people seem to read it as he was literally physically holding on the entire time whereas I always took that to be more a visual to show how connected he is to the tardis.

My take away was that it was more like when House took over the tardis. Sutekh's soul/energy latched onto the tardis just less obviously than House and that the events of wild blue yonder gave him enough power to re manifest

I'm curious as to others takes on this?
