Hello All, I have a general question for the plumbers out there regarding starting a business. If I were to want to team up with an experienced plumber to start a business, how would I go about finding any plumbers that would be interested in having ownership in a new business? I have the capital and have been browsing online listings but everything requires a license in CA and I’m just an accountant. I’m sure if I had friends in the industry it would be easier to make some connections but I unfortunately I don’t know of anyone within my network.
Also, what would incentivize a plumber to leave a good job and take a “risk” on a new company? Let’s say the salary remains the same or maybe is slightly increased to start. I’m sure most people would be skeptical to take that leap but I’m also sure a small amount is looking for this type of opportunity, I just don’t know where to find them!
