So I was admitted to the School of Atmospheric Sciences for EDP and wanted to try transfer to engineering, however, I want to do Civil Engineering and heard that it’s not as competitive as Computer Science or EE. What are my odds of internally transferring from a different department to Civil Engineering..?

So I’m taking the math placement in like two weeks and I have been studying
/reviewing Algebra and Trig, I haven’t taken AP calc nor pre calc so I’m kinda doomed. I want to get a placement of 5 so I can take Applied Calc I or Calc I, what sections are good enough for a 5? Because I’m pretty sure you don’t need to know calc for 5.
