Melody Cup submisions
MELODY CUP 01 - LISSE, NETHERLANDS
Submisions are now open for the melody cup song contest hosted this edition in the netherlands (i randomized it)
This a bracket style tournament, voting will be on stawpolls
Any country allowed, if your interested give me the country you want to represent as long as its not taken, and a artist that has a conection to that country and what song from them.
Exeptions to country relations are...
Italian singers can represnt San Marino
German singers can represent Liechtenstein
Spanish singers can represnt Andorra
Greek singers can represnt Cyprus
Albanian singers can represent Kosovo
And there may be more exceptions so just ask if your curious
Layout:
Preliminary Round
All countries participate and the top 8 countries at the end of a 1 day long voting period move to the next round. Results of the top 8 wont be shared, but the bottom 8 will
Quaterfinals
All 8 qualfing countries are randomized into 4 groups of 2 and duel each other for most points. All quater finals duels will be on at the same time in the same post and voting will be 1 day long. Qualfiers of each duel move on to the Semifinals
Semifinals
The 4 qualfiers are then randomized again into 2 groups of 2. Same voting for 1 day and the winning song of each one moves to the FINAL DUEL
Final Duel
Both qualifying countries from the Semifinals battle for first and second place, the winning song will be the melody cup champion and the user that selected the song will be able to auto qualfy to the next event that is hosted, get first dibs on country they want to represent, and choose the host city.
***Special Round
This is where all 6 of the non qualfiers from the quater finals and semifinals participate all together. The winning song will get 3rd place, 2nd will get 4th etc. This will happen at the same time as the final duel and its just to secure all places received.
