Add radish leaves to radish kimchi?

I’m attempting to make radish kimchi for the first time. I hate seeing all these radish leaves go to waste so I wondered if anyone who makes this frozen some of the leaves. Or maybe there’s a different kimchi I could make with just the leaves? Or just toss them in the compost bin?

Pull the Garlic or Wait

I’m in zone 7b, with threat of spring frost usually ending around end of April. I planted hard neck garlic (Chosnek Red) for the first time in early October in my raise bed.

It’s really come along, and I’ve been happy, but I have seen the leaves yellow a bit. I’ve read that this can be a sign that it’s nearly time to harvest them, but in my area June is when they’re said to be ready. I’ve seen no scapes, and I thought this is supposed to happen long before harvest time occurs.

The soil is compost, composted cow manure, raised bed soil and a little too soil. Pretty light but (I think) rich. Should I leave it alone or should I dress it with some kind of root stimulating fertilizer? Not really sure how to proceed.

I wonder if someone can recommend a recipe, preferably one you’ve done so you know it’s good, using some stuff I have.

-homemade beef broth
-baby bok choi from the garden

I can go buy whatever ingredients to add, but just need a good recipe. I was hoping for something Asian-inspired but have no experience of the best or essential herbs & spices to add.

Please share your suggestions and links to good recipes!
