Hey everyone, I’m just your basic diyer and am looking for advice. I tore out an old half-door that led to the basement and it was anchored pretty heavily. Those of you that are more experience drywallers, would you scrape and patch each of these holes or cut a long skinny section out of the drywall, screw in some backer pieces, and mud in a newly cut piece of drywall? Any advice is appreciated! (Sorry the pics are so zoomed…there are three holes this size on each side)
