Has riot said anything about akali's double jump buffers being adjusted so they work like a regular jump?

Several patches back they changed jump cancels so you have a couple frames of leniency to get forward jump instead of neutral jump.

But since akali's release she has the old jump buffer for her double jump where a single frame of 8 gives a neutral jump and you need a clean 9 input for a forward jump. Is this going to get changed or is this intentional?
