Legion Go S Z2 Go SteamOS Ubisoft Games Benchmarks

Tested 3 Ubisoft games under different TDP to see how well they run via each game's benchmarking tool using the following settings:

  • 1080p Low (Shadows disabled for GR Wildlands)
  • No Lossless Scaling enabled
  • Tested in Gaming Mode
  • GPU at 2200 MHz (max) throughout

Note that the games were launched on Ubisoft Connect i.e. I installed and launched the app through Steam and then played the games through Connect as this was on SteamOS.

General performance indicates 37W as a sweet spot for this averaging to ~53 FPS between the 3 games. I tried a simple test for an actual Steam game with Hunt: Showdown (1080p Low, FSR: Performance Mode) and there were no noticeable differences between 37W and 40W (~55 to 58 FPS) while the Legion Go S Performance mode at 30W was around 50 to 53 FPS.
