Trying to learn sprite animation with a friend. This is maybe my 3rd attempt. But i have no idea where to go from here. I was thinking maybe start woth like a background so that i can try to learn actual movement i stead of just having the character in place. This is about 5 hours worth of experience. Any tips/suggestions for improving would be very appreciated.

I dont plan on creating any sprites from scratch. Not just yet...
