Engine Oil Light
So the past two weeks I’ve been having this issue on my VWT4 2001 Caravelle - 2.5Tdi.
The engine gets up to temperature, after 1700ish RPM the Oil Light illuminates.
So far - Oil Pressure Sensor changed, Full Service, new Oil filter and Oil, no change to this light coming on.
Sounds pretty normal as far as I can tell, don’t think it’s electrical because I can get the light to come on and go off with lower RPM or turning the engine off basically resets it.
I got a feeling the RAC have put in the wrong Engine Oil but the light was on before this, pretty sure it takes 10w -40 and they put in 5w - 30. ( don’t know if this could be an issue)
Hopefully one of you intelligent lot can help me, at my wits end and really don’t want to lose my van.
