Hello all, I had a preventative cerclage placed at 13 weeks. Shortly after I noticed my pad was wet. I tested positive for rupture of membranes. They kept me overnight and tested me twice more, all three tests came back positive. They also performed something called ferning tests which were all negative. That was all the leaking I had so they sent me home on a wait and see approach. I went in a week later at 14 weeks and my fluid measurements were normal and I had no more leaking. I'm now 16 weeks and my most recent ultrasound showed normal fluid levels. For the past 3 weeks I've moved from the bed to the couch and to use the restroom and quickly shower. I'm terrified of everything. I bought ph paper and I've been testing every little bit of discharge, terrified it's amniotic fluid (every time I test it's negative). I feel like I'm losing my mind. I guess my question is could 3 tests all be false positives? Any feedback would be appreciated!
