Hello!

Looking for any advice on plants that are easy to get that are fairly good at self sustainment and will look decent in this 5 gallon. I have had this exact tank setup with the plants shown but they all seemed to become very thin or brown over time. Well cycled tank with some substrate for plants. Some liquid plant fertilizer was used and plants still died. Any recommendations on plants or filtration upgrades or anything you notice would be much appreciated. (Last picture taken back in October) (I am working on cleaning up tank more still and when I had plants would do a weekly 20% water change)
