I hope that one day in the future FK will be a camping fest. Two 8 hr days with that many artists really limits who you get to see. Don’t get me wrong I know there’s always going to be sets that I’ll have to miss out on, but only getting to see at most 10-12 sets per day if I’m constantly running back and forth from stage to stage. Realistically you’ll see 6 sets per day. I know that some people are going to say to just go to Lost Lands, but as a Florida resident with limited funds Lost Lands isn’t super feasible. But getting back to the hotel at 11 pm on Sunday I just felt unsatisfied.

Forbidden Kingdom was exceptional this year, but the vibe just felt a little off. I might be just misremembering, but I don’t remember only getting 2 night time sets per day last year. I know that this year it was jn April instead of June, but the fact that 90% of the sets were before sunset it felt like we didn’t really get to “rave”.
