I purchased my Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires on April 4, 2026. I am a 72 yo woman who doesn't drive daily. I got in my car this morning and everything was fine. I drove about 2 miles and parked, headed into the space. When I came out, my rear driver's side tire was flat.
We filled the tire and drove to the dealer where we purchased the tires. They said it was a sidewall puncture. I was surprised and asked my husband to get the tire. There is a big crack that extends from the tread read into the sidewall. I have a picture I can send to you.
I don't hit curbs or parking strips. When I park at my house, the car is in the driveway or the driver's side is away from the sidewalk side. I haven't hardly used these tires at all. I don't understand how there can be a big crack in the side of the tire.
Do you think I did this or is it a dealer/manufacturer issue?
