So I'm a complete noob when it comes metal but I've always wanted to get more into it, ever since I heard this song! I really like a lot of stuff I've listened to since, but I've never really found anything quite like this exactly. Its hard for me to put my finger on specifically what it is about this that speaks to me, but I guess it's the kind of narrative style of it that makes it feel more like a heretic poem, rather than a song with elaborate guitar build ups, solos and progression that I hear in most other metal music. Hopefully you can help me out!
