I have another landscaping bed near this that I'm digging down 3 inches, putting down dewitt sunbelt geotextile and then 3 inches of 3/4 crushed.

Im planning to do the same with this bed but I'm unsure of what to do with how it meets the grass? My existing metal edging I could just dig it down a bit more? Should I make the rock level with the grass? I obviously don't want spillover into the grass
