recovery questions

hi folks,

i have a short question. maybe any of you could help me out.

im planning to do an longdistance triathlon pretty soon. i also plan to do a 24h run event in about 4 month. yesterday a friend of mine said i shouldnt participate in both, since the ironman alone will take more than half a year of recovery.

does any of you have expierience with doing multiple major events in a season? is it stupid... i dont want to injur myself. any expierinces on that matter would help me out greatly. thanks

looking for beginner drills breaststroke

hi folks,

a friend of mine is going to do an olympic tri in about 2 month. he asked me for advice and i do want to help him.

since the time is short we decided that he will swim breaststroke because thats what he can most likly acomplish without drowning. starting to learn freestyle right now seems to be a bad bet.

now my problem: i am swiming since my early childhood. so i do have a hard time understanding problems with breathing and how to sit in the water. also i dont rly remember starter drills all that much.

this is why i am here to ask those of you who had to learn swiming at adult age for a few drills that helped you getting more comfortable in the water.

any expierinces or drills are welcome :D

thank you

wenn frauen nur die hälfte der zeit die sie in ihr aussehen stecken würden, in charakterentwicklung steckten, dann wären sie doppelt so hübsch. 👍
