Hey all! I’ve been posting here more often as I continue to learn about roses. We inherited these bushes when we moved into the house years ago and I still have no idea what they are. But I finally got some blooms on 3 (of the very many) bushes in our yard.

What do these ones look like? I’ve numbered the different photos to try and help keep them straight!

Edit to add: The first rose bush is maybe 3 feet tall. It has very thin branches and is the only one with a trellis.

The 2nd and 3rd bushes are as tall as my backyard fence (around 5-6 feet). They were both way taller until a few days ago when I realized I couldn’t realistically care for a bush that was twice as tall as me.

I highly suspect the last owner of our house purchased these from either Home Depot or Costco. She seemed to be an incredibly loyal buyer to those two locations when she renovated the home.

It works! But I’m also disgusted. Looks like a car windshield after a long road trip! This is what’s on the roller after cleaning 1.5 buds of aphids.

I’ve been spraying my roses with water, soapy water, and neem oil for a couple of weeks and this is definitely the most effective method so far! Might need to buy more lint rollers tho 😂

The aphids are getting worse every single day!!! I sprayed with neem oil just a few days ago, and before that I sprayed every bud as best I could with a stream of water to knock them off. It feels like the more I try to get rid of them, the more they multiply.

Help?!??
