Today I was casually doomscrolling Makerworld webpage, choosing my next print when I suddenly got an error from my P2S saying “abnormal nozzle temperature” etc. While being at work I asked my gf to shut down the printer and decided to check it in the evening.

When I came home I saw that from the outside it looked completely fine and I thought maybe it was just a software bug, so I just plugged my printer in and started it with backside button.

As far as you can guess, reading my post, the printer was not about to start working after the restart. I heard 2 separate error signals like when the filament is running out, then without even showing a sign on the screen I saw a short blink of light inside, the vent started to run as fast as if it was trying to change the filament and a short moment after the printer stopped working itself,
seems like an accident shutdown.

*THE PATH BEGINS*

At first I noticed that the ceramic heater behind the hotend was hot as hell, like it was getting signals from the toolhead plate to get up to 220+ in within a second.
I started investigating deeper and with help of bambu wiki articles disassembled the heater, coolers and the toolhead plate cover. Everything looked more or less fine (all contacts were clear and all wires had zero bends or whatever could be suspicious in that scenario. I cleaned all possible connections and placed all parts back in their places.

Moment of truth* never happened and the scenario was exactly the same as before the checkup.

I ordered a new toolhead plate just in case it got burnt somehow or it had factory issues (in other cases I have no idea what is wrong with this printer after 300+ hours of great work).

Leave your comments and let me know if you have any ideas why this happened
