Apple Pay says that my card is expired but it’s not.

I’ve been having trouble with Apple Pay not working for a couple weeks now and it’s driving me nuts.

Whenever I try to pay for something with Apple Pay it says that my card was declined and that it has expired. Despite the fact that it’s a new card that I got back in January or February and it won’t expire for 3 years.

But it’s been working fine on both my IPhone and IPad until roughly 4 weeks ago.

I’ve been able to pay with the physical card itself or by putting the card details on the website I’m trying to buy from manually. I’ve even been able to use it on my Apple ID to pay for something on the App Store.

So there doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the card itself but Apple Pay just refuses to work.

I’ve seen some people say that the reason why it’s not working is because Apple Pay is confused on what year it expires and to manually put in the MM/YYYY when adding it back on. But when I try to do that it comes up with this thing where you have to scroll through to put the date in instead of just typing it in. So I have no idea if that is causing issues as well.

I’ve tried almost every method I could find to get it to work.

I’ve tried removing the card, restarting my iPhone and IPad, then manually adding back the card, didn’t work.

I’ve tried adding another card, then removing the problematic card, restarting my devices, adding the problematic card and then removing the other card, didn’t work.

I’ve tried adding it back on by using the bank app, didn’t work.

I’ve tried leaving my Apple IDs unlinked to Apple Pay, didn’t work.

I’ve even tried signing out of my Apple IDs on both of my devices then signing back in, didn’t work.

My only options left are to contact the bank and Apple to see if they can help me but if anyone has a solution to my problem or can at least give me an idea as to what could be causing the problem, I would greatly appreciate it, Please.
