My Father (and paternal grandparents) were born in Peru, but he left as a child. He does not, to my knowledge, have a DNI, because he left before they started. He's deceased.

My understanding is that I might be entitled to citizenship by descent. My plan was to talk to the consulate about sourcing his and my grandmother's birth certificates, I have the details/document numbers, but I don't know whether or not that's enough.

Does anyone know?
