Fire and Ash
The Spanish Flu mutated and tore its way through the world once again. In its wake, radicalism, chaos and war followed. The Empires of Europe, weakened by the First World War and teetering after the Collapse of the Raj, broke to pieces. In the New World, the American Dictatorship seized its chance and achieved its Manifest Destiny; now, having discovered the world’s only vaccine against the Plague, they profit off the misery and hope of more than a billion souls.
**The Situation in Britain**
In Britain, the collapse of the Empire demolished what remained of the economy after the crash. As the Second Labour Government and the British Fascists clashed in Manchester, Unions armed themselves; the Army and the Elite, horrified by the ensuing Union Rifles Crisis, made a deal with the Fascists and sent the United Kingdom into 6 Years of Tyranny.
Now, with yet another failed administration, Lord Halifax – the failed Viceroy – has been appointed PM by the ailing King. The Resistance and the Fascist Hardliners alike see this as the final straw and will make their move to impose their own visions for Britain’s redemption.
