Pata hai aaj kya hua 😅
So there’s this girl in my office from the same department. We’ve been interacting a lot from the last few months because of work, but slowly the vibe started feeling a little different from normal colleague interaction.
We usually coordinate on vendor onboarding, material extensions, POs, NDA/CDA work etc. She often comes to me first for work even when others are available. Sometimes she explains things to me in detail through screen share even though I already know the process. She also remembers small things about my work that even I forget 😭
One funny thing is every morning when she passes by my bus stop in the company cab, she notices me and waves with a smile. This has happened multiple times now. Once she even told me directly, “Mi tula roj notice karte tithe” (I notice you there every day). Another time I joked that i come in the heat while they travel in an AC cab and she instantly replied, “Chalat asta tar tula gheun aale aste” 😭 (if it is allowed i will bring you with me)
Recently I went to my village for my brother’s wedding for a few days. Before leaving I sent her an Insta request thinking she probably won’t even accept it, but she accepted it.
Today after coming back to office, she smiled seeing me, gave me work again, and later another thing happened. She had gone into a meeting and calls started coming on her landline. I finally picked one up and it was a vendor call. I informed him she was in a meeting and messaged her on Teams. When she came back she said jokingly, “Jevha mi naste tevhach sagle calls yetat” 😅(when I am not available only that time this happens)
There are lots of these small moments:
- eye contact
- smiling and looking down
- playful teasing
- remembering personal details like my brother’s wedding leave
- randomly asking if I’m busy before giving work
- waving from cab daily 😭
At the same time, nothing direct has been said from either side. So now I genuinely can’t understand:
Is this just comfort/friendliness because we work closely?
Or is there actual attraction from her side too?
And most importantly… should I slowly take things forward or just let it flow naturally for now?
Edit : She is the first who asked my number her tongue slip she had while asking it is like "tum itne pass rehte ho fir bhi tumhara numb...." And she stopped like she got awkward by seeing this situation i give her my number.
TL;DR:
Girl from my office keeps giving subtle signs like daily smiling/waving from cab, remembering small details about me/work, playful teasing, and choosing me first for help even when others are around. She accepted my Insta request too. Nothing direct has happened yet, so I’m confused whether this is just comfort/friendliness or actual attraction. Should I take things forward slowly or just let it flow naturally.
