First, I am pretty new to MTG. Second, I am a huge fan of Wheel of Time.

I think the Wheel of Time could be an awesome set for Magic. There are so many characters it would be easy to build Legendary characters. Each of the main characters has variations that could easily be spun into different cards “Rand al’ Thor, Dragon Reborn”, “Rand al’ Thor, sheep herder”, “Perrin, Goldeneyes”, “Young bull, wolf-brother”, etc. There are dozen of different creatures, spells, lands, etc that could easily build decks. There are loads of different abilities that the characters possess in the books that could easily translate into in game abilities.

Maybe this has already been discussed before. I didn’t look too much into it.
