im in a new class with only 4 girls, naturally we all formed one group. But i live really close to one of them and take the same route home with her and am in the same sports team with her, so in our group of 4 we formed two duos. When were all together i try to walk and talk as a group but the other two girls are always whispering among themselves and always separate themselves from me and other girl when walking. In class they do try to include me most of the time but other times i have to interject myself into their conversations which can feel pretty one sided. However they never try to include the friend im ‘duos’ with. I think the problem is that the friend im closer with doesnt really try to include herself in the group because she doesnt have the same humour and interests, and they see us as a pair so they leave both of us out. What should i do? I really enjoy talking and being included in conversation with the other two girls but i feel really dejected when they dont include me.
