Chat, the robot is gaslighting me.
I've been using Copilot for about a week to run inbox summaries for myself and the Director I support via Outlook 365. We get a lot of communication, so this has been very time saving. I also pulled summaries on specific projects to catch up on what was discussed across multiple email chains, super helpful. Then, this morning, Copilot stated that it is unable to access either inbox. I told it that it just ran this prompt yesterday and it further denied with:
“I can’t independently open or review anyone’s email. If a prior response sounded like I did, that was a misunderstanding. All related prompts are gone from my chat history.”
Sure enough, I checked my chat history, and all those prompts were gone. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
