Disclaimer: I'm a premier league football fan from England, Suarez has never played for a club I have supported but I consider him to be one of the greatest strikers ever, and someone who should be in the PL all-time team.

However he has these three incidents where he intentionally bit opposing players (Bakkal, Ivanovic, Chellini) and even recently reflexively tried to bite Jordi Alba when he thought he was someone else who had put their hand on him.

I don't speak Spanish so I just have no idea what this guy is like, is he viewed as some sort of insane dude in Uruguay? Is he seen as mentally slow? Is he a sharp guy who does weird stuff (Ibra)?

How is he received?

Peace!

They seem to have players - players who aren't like shit, Ben Thatcher types, but players who are in the national team and top clubs who repeatedly put dangerous, stupid, and (imo) cowardly tackles in. People like Romero and Martinez, but there is a very long list, it's like there is a line between being physical (strong, difficult to deal with, combative) and being dangerous.

It's like they see willingness to fly into a tackle shin high as a replacement for actually being tough/brave, when it's the opposite.

It's crazy as well because offensively Argentina has the two best players ever
