Hello, IT professionals of Reddit!
As the title says, I am looking for my go-to IT guy. I like sameness and predictability, so I like to go to the same person. My current issue is with OneDrive. It won't sync to my computer without either deleting all the files currently on my laptop or duplicating the native system folders. I would like to use OneDrive, but I need someone more knowledgeable to help me resolve the issues. In general, there are things I'd like to hand off to a professional rather than do myself, like security and privacy or personalization. I currently have an HP Envy x360 2-in-1 laptop, but I would like to either buy or build a PC in the future. The challenge is that I don't really know what to search for to find the type of person I am looking for. Please suggest ways to find the right IT person for me, or give suggestions in the Houston metro area.
