Wondering what the best thing to do is to get some SEO fundamentals in place for a quick one pager. Meta tags, structured data, whatever else is needed.

I would always have used Yoast, run the setup wizard, submitted the sitemap and mostly left it at that unless asked otherwise.

I get the feeling that Yoast is probably far too bulky for just getting the basics in place, and I'm wondering if there's another plugin out there that'll give me what I need without too much effort, or am I best off doing it myself given it's a custom theme?
