Treatment of kitchen staff
Been working at my pub as a kitchen associate for a year and a half and was wondering if any other kitchen staff on here feel like they’re not sort of part of the team at all at their pub . What I mean by this is things like the WhatsApp pub chat we’re not on , get togethers that are organised none of us are ever invited to etc . It’s just that feeling of you’re an isolated group from the rest of the bar team and even the pub manager treats us like a different entity too . Obviously you’re there to make money, but still find it a bit odd how isolated kitchen staff are made it feel at our pub . Anyone else the same?
