Back Progress

Had to take 2 months off lifting for surgery and am happy to see I haven’t lost a ton of my back muscle.
Going on vacation next month and I made it a goal to have a strong back, really happy to see I’m still popping a little!
I do 2 back days a week, one push and one pull day.
I’ve been lifting pretty consistently for the past 5 years.

I had a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with muscle repair at Woori Plastic Surgery in Seoul.
Pictures are before and 2 weeks post op. Still tight and swollen but feeling great so far!

Chief surgeon Dr. Kim Seong Chan did my surgery. During my consultation I ensured he was board certified and cctv was provided in the operating room. I had an English representative during all of my consultations and pre op bloodwork and X-rays but most of the staff spoke very good English.

The day of surgery they were very good with reassuring me because I had a lot of nerves. When I was brought into the operating room the anesthesiologist introduced herself and let me know she would be there the entire time and even held my hand. I believe my surgery was 3 hours long.

I stayed overnight at their hospital and had a fantastic night shift nurse who spoke English well and checked on me frequently. My surgeon checked on me right after my surgery and before night shift. My family was able to come in and visit with me as well after the surgery.

The next morning my surgeon came and assessed my surgical site to ensure everything looked well and the drains I had were pulled out before I was discharged. I was sent home with all my meds.

I have had several post op visits since my surgery and my English representative is present with me and my surgeon checks my muscle repair and incision site every time with an ultrasound. I’ve had my compression garment fitted to my body measurements, stitches removed and received my scar cream so far.
I will be receiving my first laser scar treatment in a couple weeks as well.

My experience has been fantastic so far and I highly recommend Dr. Kim Seong Chan and Woori Plastic Surgery.
