I will begin this rant by stating : WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHY SHOULD YOU DO THAT.

Your child has been suffering under cruel servants, while you just go around flaunting your status around.

For context : Thalia (the little girl) is the child of an illicit affair between the emperor and her mother. Her mother recently became empress after the former one died. This woman literally left her child in a strange place, hasn't visited her since then and expects her daughter to stop acting like the literal child she is 🙄

You can't expect a girl who's at least eight to be used to this. You literally abandoned her and don't get me started on the emperor, he barely even acknowledges her, just told her to study Imperial etiquette and that's that.

Lord help me, because this is one of those times I desperately want to transmigrate into a story and literally slap a character.

With a mother like this, it's no wonder Thalia ended up how she is.
