I was on maternity leave and still had not heard from childcare about 2 weeks before I was suppose to return so I reached out to my supervisor. I came in for a sit down and my supervisor was approved to allow me part time by RDO. After the approval, my email became inactive-i know it was active during maternity leave because I would occasionally help my supervisor with work things during maternity leave through my email.
I brought up that my email was no longer active to my supervisor before my return. When I returned my email was still not active-which is required to even log in to the computers. So my first day I absolutely couldn't do anything, and my supervisor was not even in the building thay day.
The next day I brought my personal laptop so I could do some of my duties. The accounting software we use had my supervisor assigned as proxy while I was on leave, so I turned it off now thay I returned. My supervisor came up to me and snidely stated I am not allowed to do that because "i don't work enough." She also told me thay she would be keeping my duties since she had no problem doing them while I was on maternity leave. I now roll silverware to kill time.
Note: I have NEVER in the 3 years I worked here had any complaints about my work ethic or anything and have always received 100% on all my performance evaluations.
At this point I feel I am being discriminated and ready to quit. Am I just being overly emotional?
