How to play melee brawler/bruiser mons correctly?
So I started the game off learning defenders but am always trying to improve and learn other roles. Passed on to mages, adcs and eventually assassins and supporters on higher elo matches. However I am trying and cannot figure out how to play melee top laners correctly.
Maybe my question stems from never playing other MOBAs before and am not getting how this subrole is supposed to be played.
The amount of CC present in this game seems unbearable to play this role to anyone else? At least in this current meta.
Lets use Garchomp for example, am having a terrible time trying to learn him on soloq. Im either getting stunlocked or kited to death constantly. The ult is a fight changer but is it really worth using a mon because of its ult? And to ambush/wait in grass isnt the assassin class more appropriate?
Maybe this attacker meta is not friendly to play garchomp effectively on this case but I seldom see a favourable comp on the other side for him to justify the pick.
Does someone have a guide on subroles and how are they supposed to be played?
