Apple Carplay - Geely Coolray 2024
Hi All,
Helping a friend with their Geely Coolray that they need Carplay on. I have previously used Carbitlink devices on Chinese cars where it didnt have carplay but the device allows for it to be used.
Most vids i have found online are 3 years old and i wanted to see if the car community has any updates.
I need to make sure that the sideloading method of using a USB to install autokit APK on the car's infotainment unit is the best way forward.
Will the WIFI manager also unlock allowing me to update the app?
I have a carbitlink autokit device that i will use which does not have a built in mic. Will the infotainment's built in mic get used or will the connected phone's mic be used
Is there support from Wallan/Geely to update the headunit to a newer model which supports wired/wireless car play?
