Moving to a large city for residency, and am able to find a nice studio for about $1100 versus a one bedroom for $1400. Both have in unit w/d, nice amenities, walkable to downtown, new builds.

I’ve never paid more than $800 in rent (college town and roommates) - is it worth paying the extra ~3-4k a year for a one bedroom over the studio? Especially considering I’m going to be working most of my waking hours. I guess my future earnings will dwarf any residency savings but curious. Thanks!
