My Pixel 6 died without warning. Yesterday it just shut down and only revives after a while in the fridge, then shuts down again 15 minutes later. Anyway, with almost 5 years under its belt, I was already thinking about upgrading. I'm pretty clear on my two options: the Nothing Phone (3) or the Pixel 10. I've been switching between Google (Nexus and Pixel series) and Carl Pei (1+) for many years and haven't strayed from that range, so my dilemma makes sense. The Pixel 10 would be the logical choice to keep things the same. The Nothing Phone would be a change of pace after 5 years. The first big difference is that I can buy the Nothing Phone for 500 euros and the Pixel for at least 650. And my question is, do those 150 euros justify the camera improvements and features like "Now Playing" and other things? Honestly, I don't know what I might be missing out on in terms of AI with the Nothing Phone, but I recognize that some things are worth buying for their internal features as well as their external appeal. That's why I'm asking, coming from the Pixel 6, what will I miss if I buy the Nothing, besides a camera that, while worse, certainly isn't that bad. And I'm writing all this from my resurrected (and wonderful) 1+ 7 Pro. I'm reading your replies.
