I just picked up votann and am coming back after a few years gone, went to play at my lgs cause the group is super friendly and stuff. I've had a few ok games but only against brand new players and at or under 1k points.

Today I went to play a 2k game and I was shot off the table before I got a 2nd turn. Wtf am I doing wrong cause I wanna quit the hobby rn

Preface: I'm disabled pretty severely to the point of can only work about 3 days a week without making myself so physically sick that I cannot even stand for several days. My work knows this, and is aware that I may need to call out after partially strenuous or stressful shifts.

Last night someone threatened to shoot me in the parking lot. I've been sick all day today, taking anti nausea and caffeine pills like candy just to be able to get out of bed. The reason being, my job only has 3 employees for the position.

I cannot at all call out for literally anything because we wouldn't be able to get someone to work.

My boss has been trying to hire more people but the location owner refuses to let us get more than 4 people on staff for some reason.

Even after last night, I had to show up to work, another closing shift by myself, even though im so stressed and anxious from the whole thing that ive nearly thrown up 8 times already.

I'm not fully sure where i was going with this but yeah,,,,a workplace shouldn't be allowed to operate if they have so few employees that they can't support a single call out

Am I doing something wrong?
