Some Mother’s Day Loaves
I’ve become a complete loaf pan sourdough convert. Big shaped boules are pretty, but these are just so easy to make and more practical to consume lol.
The base recipe is: https://tartinebakery.com/stories/country-bread
I multiply this by 1.25. This makes 2 13” Pullman loaves or 3 9” loaves. I doubled that to do both today.
The big loaves are plain sourdough, the smaller ones are cheddar and chive, which were measured by the heart and added in at shaping. I did have a small Pullman lid incident resulting in the big dent on one of the big ones, but hey, it was a learning moment!
