
Built a WHOOP-integrated AI nutritionist that lives in imessage. 30 days" -5 fat / +5 muscle. Looking for 5 beta testers.
Quick context: I'm a solo dev. I lift 5x/week and looked nothing like someone who lifts 5x/week. My WHOOP told me I was training fine — recovery decent, strain solid. My diet was held together with salads and protein bars I bought because they had a green label.
I needed a nutritionist. I didn't want to pay $300/month for a human one or log every grape into MyFitnessPal. Both options sucked.
So I built one. It lives in iMessage. I text it a photo of any menu (restaurant, takeout, whatever), it pulls my WHOOP recovery + strain from that morning, and texts back what to order and why.
No app to open. No food to log. Just a thread with a bot that knows my data.
30-days:
- -5 lbs fat
- +5 lbs muscle
- Measured with scale
- Protein went from ~80g/day to ~180g/day (the real fix, tbh)
How it works under the hood:
- Gemini Vision model reads the menu
- WHOOP API pulls recovery, strain, sleep
- Gemini generates the rec with reasoning
- iMessage as the surface (zero friction)
What I'm looking for:
10 users are on it now and using it daily. I want 5 more to stress-test it across different goals(cutting, recomp, lean bulk, endurance).
Requirements:
- WHOOP, OR you've tried/quit a macro tracking app
- Willing to text it 3+ times a week for 2 weeks
- Honest feedback when it gets stuff wrong
