So I’ve been watching Digimon Data Squad / Savers and something about Masaru’s whole DigiSoul thing has been bugging me. Touma and Yoshino can pretty much activate their DigiSoul and evolve their partners without any weird extra step. Meanwhile, Masaru out here throwing hands every single time like it’s mandatory.

What’s confusing me is that it doesn’t even feel symbolic. Like, I first thought it was just his way of expressing determination or willpower, but there are actual moments where if he fails to land a punch, his DigiSoul just… doesn’t charge. So it makes it seem like the physical impact is genuinely required, not just a personality quirk.

Is there an in-universe explanation for this later on, or is it just “that’s how Masaru works” kind of thing? I’d rather not get spoiled if it does get explained, but I’m curious if I’m overthinking it or if there’s actually something deeper going on.

I’m trying to watch movies on Streamimdb.ru (i.e, site that lets u watch movies by addding play before its IMDB page) using the “Browser” browser on Android TV, and I’m running into a weird issue.

When I use the site’s own player, the video plays fine and subtitles show up, but the timestamp/progress bar doesn’t hide in fullscreen. It just stays there the whole time, which is really annoying.

This doesn’t happen on PC or Android phone—the player works normally there and hides the UI as expected. I also tried switching to desktop mode on the TV browser, but that didn’t fix it.

I’ve tested other browsers too like TV Bro and the default Internet Browser, but same issue everywhere.

If I switch to the browser’s built-in video player, the UI works properly (timestamp hides), but then subtitles don’t show at all.

So basically:

Site player → subtitles work, UI broken

Browser player → UI works, subtitles missing

Anyone found a proper fix or workaround for this on Android TV?
