The Web and The End are the only intelligent entities? I mean Annabelle Cane says it, and it goes unchallenged so I assume it’s what the writers intended. But personally, I think the Eye has to be intelligent as well. Not only is it able to watch and know all, and therefore learn to think, but I actually think it “wins” in the end even more so than the Web. Not only does it get its eyepocalypse, but it gets to Ceaselessly Watch entirely new worlds, while the Web will need to start from scratch, getting entirely new subjects to hold power over. It basically got everything it wanted out of the main world and more. Are we sure the Web actually manipulated the Eye?

Can a case be made for any of the other entities being sentient too? Personally I think all of them are to a degree and Annabelle Cane is just a powerscaler
