This is for the people who care about who they support in today’s day and age. If you don’t care, just keep scrolling because this will just annoy you. But with everything going on in America, it is important to decide who you support, and while it may not make the biggest difference, change starts small. I’m not sure if I’m wording this right, I’ve never used this app before but I just wanted to share.
This company supports Trump and has donated money. The founder, Ron Razete, publicly posted against homosexuality, abortion, and Obama. He has spread hate. He has also committed tax evasion driven by lying and greed. He is VERY right winger. I’m not sure how to add links here but I urge you all to look it up if you are interested and you will find what I am talking about.
I remember hearing this story a while ago and thought it was ironic since their whole brand is very hippie when they are in fact not about kindness. When I saw the store opening I remembered all of this but didn’t care to say anything until a friend of mine, who I’ll keep private, told me of a story where the founders were very rude.
I understand that the people running the stores may not align with these beliefs but at the end of the day the money you spend is going to the company. All in all, the founder is real terrible person. And they are MAGA.
I’ve actually went down a rabbit hole and there’s another thread on this app talking about this in r/pittsburgh and it seems other people have worse to say.
And if this pisses you off because you don’t care about where your money goes or you support the same things, just keep scrolling. This doesn’t concern you so don’t waste your time. Thanks for anyone who read all this! I just wanted to share and it’s my first post so again, sorry if I did something wrong and any spelling mistakes I’m typing fast!
