This is a follow-up to my previous post regarding the suspicious item I ordered. To save time, I won't go into the details again.
The situation: I didn't pick up the package from the box because it was a fake item and did not wanted to deal with a debate, so it was automatically sent back to the seller... According to the Sameday courier tracking, the package was successfully delivered back to the seller today at 11:34 AM ("Coletul a fost returnat cu succes").
The problem:
Vinted is still stuck on the "Returning order to sender" status. It says the refund will be issued once the seller marks the item as received. However, the seller was quite rude in our previous chats, and I’m worried they might intentionally avoid clicking the "Mark as received" button to delay my refund.
My questions:
Because he collected it shouldn't there be a new update on vinted?
The 48h countdown: Does Vinted show a 48-hour automatic confirmation countdown for returns as well? I know it exists for regular orders, but I'm not sure if it’s the same process when an item is sent back to the seller.
Seller Inactivity: If the seller refuses to click anything, how long does Vinted usually wait before automatically stepping in and issuing the refund based on the courier's "Delivered" status?
Support: Should I contact support with my screenshots now, or is it better to wait 24-48 hours?
