So I took my lil nugget to the vet today, and she's a bit overweight and needs to go on a diet. I told the vet that she's very... demanding with her food and asked if there were good ways to keep her from eating me instead. The vet said she needs other forms of enrichment to help distract her. That makes sense, but she has always been part garbage cat and gets bored so easily.

The best toys I've found are 1. Balled up receipts 2. Bubbles 3. Cat Dancer wire toy 4. Long toys for bunny kicking 5. Shoe laces 6. Stolen hair ties (this is against my will and are taken back right away).

These are used supervised and put away after play time. I've tried a lot of other toys, but she doesn't care about them or they terrify her. https://a.co/d/014vm9rK <- This one scared the daylights out of her, and she still hates it months later.

I'm looking at a carrying backpack to take her on walks with me, and she has a playpen that I'm setting up on the balcony now that it's warm.

What are your Sib's favorite forms of enrichment?

Has anyone started stimulants for ADHD and had it shift how their asthma presents? I started immediate release Adderall and my asthma and allergies seemed to get so much better. I stopped sneezing, coughing, and produced a lot less phlegm in general. My chest never felt tight, but when I had an asthma attack, I could tell the air wasn't making it to where it needed to go. Well, finally before my third FeNo testing, the doctors told me to fast from vegetables for 24 hours and my lung inflammation tested as severe. The two prior tests had come back normal, and my SOB was treated as a mental health issue prior to this. 😒😒

I've developed a heart arrhythmia, and I've had to stop Adderall because of it. All of the sudden my lungs are hyper responsive again. My chest is tight, everything sets my asthma off, and I keep breaking out into patches of hives. I found this study which kind of explained some of it:

Has anyone else had weird experiences with stimulants and their asthma?
