My son has been exclusively breast-fed his whole life except for the first 10 days when he was in Nicu where he was formula fed maybe a few times, but mainly I was still able to breast-feed if not pump and put it in a bottle for him but now here we are seven months later and little man seems to have a dairy allergy. We suspected CMP when he was around three months old, and my doctor had advised me not to change my diet or make any switch to formula or anything like that just to ride it out, but now we’re trying solids and after specifically trying the sauce from some Annie’s white cheddar macaroni (I know it’s not a healthy option for a babies beginning foods, but I just thought him trying the sauce wouldn’t hurt)
Made him break out in large hives all over his face with swollen lip and a rushed to ER. The ER doctor after discussing with me a little bit had concluded that the baby must have a dairy allergy he also believes that a rash that I was once told must be viral is actually the allergies showing itself in a form of baby eczema so I put myself on a restricted diet, but unfortunately can no longer afford to do so. It makes a lot more financial sense for us to put him on a hypoallergenic formula which we’ve already bought my only issue. I’m having right now is the extreme guilt I am feeling of giving up breast-feeding when I know I could just continue to put myself on a restricted diet even though it’s really tolling on my mental health I feel like I should still do it for him, as well as the problem of him refusing a bottle. I cannot get this baby to take a bottle to save my life, but I think it’s gonna be our only option. I’m really really not sure what to do. Any advice is so appreciated.

FTM mom here currently freaking out because my baby boy (6 nearly 7 months old) has very recently developed eczema all over his body. I wouldn’t call it severe but it is clearly bugging him and I’m not sure what has triggered it. On top of this morning after breakfast he was playing on the floor I noticed he was rubbing his eye a lot and had quit the bumpy rash all around it. It’s been about 2 hours and the rash seems to be gone now but the same type of rash was on the top of his foot after I wiped it off with a baby wipe last night after he had accidentally kicked my ice cream.
It looks very clearly like an allergy to me. But to what? The baby wipe? The cloth I used to to clean him up after having berries for breakfast this morning? The berries themselves?
Even if no one here has answers.
what am I supposed to do next? I’ve emailed our paediatrician but it’s the weekend and I won’t hear back until Monday at the earliest. Is this an urgent care visit or can it wait until I can see our doctor?

FTM looking to move my co-sleeping baby to his very own floor bed in his own room in a few months when he’s 9-12 months old (end of summer).

All of the Pinterest ones seem to have some sort of bumper around the floor bed railing, Is this considered safe once they hit a certain age? Looking for thoughts and opinions because honestly I love the idea and look of them but know they aren’t advised for cribs but wonder if the rules change for some reason when it comes to floor bed set ups

Nothing is in motion yet so please don’t come for me in the comments I’m just idea bouncing right now and looking for good options and opinions.
