My son was born with a slight temp. They did sleep tests and stuff, everything was normal. Fast forward to 5 years later and we’re constantly struggling with random fevers. At least once a month. It’ll shoot up to 102, we take him into urgent care and they run all the normal tests and find nothing. He comes home, takes meds and he’s fine for over 24 hours, then all of a sudden it spikes again, he gets meds and it’s gone. This goes on for 3-4 days, typically. We’ve talked to the pediatrician and all they say is “Kids respond differently to virus’s”. Am I being over paranoid, or should we demand a deeper dive into this? He also was born with extra large tonsils, and we’ve been told that they aren’t concerned about it unless he starts snoring.
